Aboard the Nemesis Turian Class C Fighter Mark IV
System Location: Unknown
Sitting in the dark corridor of his ship, Yggdri took a glass of his finest beverage overlooking the schematics of the ship being inquired by his boss. The specifications were nicely laid out and quite impressive, even in the eyes of the veteraned pilot. Nearby, a large dark red light ignited, then periodically flashed every second.
With a sudden swipe, he tossed the glass off to the side, striking the hull of the ship with a shatter. He quickly rose from his chair and stood full figure. As a Turian he wouldn't be as impressive as many would seem, but his stout figure gave any challenger a second thought. With a fast stride, the Turian walked down the hallway towards the bridge.
Upon entering the main piloting room, the Turian's dark skin seemed like obsidian as it was gaunt and very rough looking. Scars lined his face from past expeditions that proved to be of a small challenge for him. The many fascinating lights transcending from the numerous computer screens lit the room to the point of the Turian taking a second to readjust himself.
"Status report, now!" Yggdri looked quite angry as he gave a nasty stare at the pilot.
"S-Sir it's a base... from the content of the message, it seems Batarian. They sent... "us"... a signal. Why would a government facility for the Batarians send us a help signal?" The pilot seemed quite complexed by the mystery behind a message sent directly to the ship without going through any known channels. How would they know about the Nemesis? Why would they call for the Nemesis?
With a growl, Yggdri clenched his fist and banged on the console in front of the pilot. "Jump to FTL speed as soon as possible, and head to the location of the distress signal now!" Without delay, the pilot gave the message to the crew to prepare themselves as they headed for the first Relay available...
"Who would be foolish enough to assault a Batarian base?" Yggdri pondered as he gazed towards their goal.
